Request from people with Cruise Control

Post by Lori Carlyle »

I'm transplanting Cruise Control from a CA MX3 into a Eunos Presso here in the UK. (first of it's kind that I know off)

However, I've hit a slight snag, If you have Cruise Control on your baby, Can you take images of the engine bay and follow the electrical cables back until you reach something and take an image of that (what ever it is) I'll build up how it fits from the images as well as what I've got here + the manual pages.

Many thanks.

You probably won't get this project done.

Its very complicated. IIRC, Umcamara was an car electronics installer by trade, and he abandoned it due to difficulty.

The CC module (the box you speak of) requires signals from the brake switch, clutch switch, neutral switch, VSS, it needs power and ground to both the CCM and the actuator. You also need the column wiring and switches. I believe there's also an inertia sensor, but thats likely in the CCM itself.

I picked up some of the parts off Umcamera :)

I prob won't get it ever done, but I'd hate myself if I didn't try.
