What have you done to make ur turbo headers fit?

I recently have aquired a turbo kit with the old style ebay headers. I have a good idea on how to make them work but seeing what people have done to make them work?

I am not trying mod the crossmember or do anything with the mounts... So anybody got any pics???

Depending on what kinda kit you got yo may have no choice but to mod the crossmember. If it looks like your pipes will not fit without modding the X-member then you probably have to reshape the crossmember or mod the pipes somehow.

But it all depends on the kit you got. Im sure someone else will chime in

i bolted the headers on both sides (loose) then i bolted the collector pipe (loose) then i tighted everything up...

i had to get the T3 flange up 1 inch higher to get the turbo compressor to clear the frame...

then the worse is the freaking down pipe! just mod as you go to make it fit...

and you WILL have to mod the crossmember... modifying the xmember will also protect your pipes down there, if you ever hit/scrape a bump! like me im dropped plus the low pipes it scrapes alot...

Ide rather mod the pipes then the crossmember... Im not trying to go under either, but I also noticed that the y pipe before the collector is really small so I dont really feel bad redoing that part at all...

I bolted all my crap on, this is all exactly the way they came.. I will post up pics when i get the crossmember modded. Now im in need of a set of AWR mounts..









and intercooler thats gunna be run...
