Seat rail question

Post by mx3matt »

Looking at throwing some recaros in my mx as a final interior detail, one if the guys I work with seems tomthink mx seat rails are the same as my old bj chassis protege(01-03). Any truth to this?

It's definitely the same as one of the generations, can't confirm that it's the BJ though. Cause all of you protege guys steal the 92-93 MX-3 seats from junkyards :P

I don't know why, I hate mx seats bro, but there's some nice recaro style leathers for sale on another board right now with pro rails, I wouldn't mind picking them up to complete My interior.

You coming out on Thursday?

Dude you have the crappy 94+ style seats. Have you seen the 92-93 ones? The ones I have in my MX-3?

And yes.

I actually <3 my '92 seats. They can make me sore after long driving trips, but still nice. I actually need to get mine re-upholstered lol. But yeah much better then the '94+ seats.

x2, except they never get uncomfortable for me :o

They're a near PERFECT fit for my body haha, I like to sit fairly upright(not a sloucher), and that also offers optimal viewing angle for everything, I love barely having to glance over my shoulder to change lanes.

I liked these cars for a long time, I fell in love when I test drove the one I bought. Even with a sloppy shifter and the rear right strut blown out, I couldn't say no.
