Halo Headlights?

Post by Meghan »

Any opinion on the halos? I heard they tend to drift after awhile. I need to buy new headlights soon and I am not sure what to get. I like the halos. I think they look cool. Am I wrong? :lol:
It's Meghan

No matter how bad things seem, they can't get any better and they can't get any worse cause that's the way things f---ing are. So you better get used to it Nancy. Quit your b----ing.

I've got halos
I love them
they are not extremely bright
and they do tend to fade
and you may only end up with high beems
but the high beems are low enough to run all the time
i would recommend then despite the issues

ive never herd of only the high beams working. you probably wired them up wrong. i dont have a set myself but ive never herd of them fading before... tuns of people on the forum and they come highly recommended. the ones with horizontal leds are said to fit a bit better and be better quality. at any rate there much better then stock headlights, dont hesitate to buy.

I actually just installed my set yesterday

HUGE difference between stock lights. I have the 6K HID kit in them, looks good and I have HIGH beam still available.

Its a big picture, and it was during daylight, didn't get a chance to take one at night.

We bought these during a group buy.http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... lit=spyder" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You can still get them just follow this link. http://www.carpart4u.com/autopart/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mine work great, fit very well and no fading so far. I did find a problem in that the wires were heat shrunk together and not soldered or crimped so if they came apart it could of lead to a fire so just pull on the wires and make sure they're properly connected. fowljesse did an installation write up that you can find using the Search here by typing in 'spyder'.

Glass are better, but for those people who can't afford new headlights, and your headlights are yellow, use toothpaste. Just put the toothpaste on the headlight(s) and rub it in as much as you can, then wipe it off. Brings the headlights back to nearly good as new (looking).

Not even a bottle of Miguires Plastic Polish?

My process is to start with the metal polish, and finish off with the plastic polish. I use either those thick shop cloths or even newspaper (the basic black and white one) for the polishing process.

nd that was my thought there gonna buy a bottle of toothpast and get mediocre results when they can buy muguiers and get great results. or even just sand paper of various grits and sand the layers off then i think the final process was to clear coat it. THERE IS A WRITE UP SOMEWHERE LOL. :D :D :D
