There you go.
Now, a couple of tips:
First, as I said before, make a few flares to practice.
Second, lube the insert, where it goes against the pipe. You can use grease (I use assembly lube, because I'm finicky... ), but don't use oil. It runs out.
Third, be aware you're in for a workout. Double flaring takes muscle.
I'll see if I can post pics of the process, so you have a better idea...

Re: have to replace the brake lines on the GS
Ok, here it is:
First, you need to clamp the end of the tube, so that it protrudes as much as the height of the insert you need to use.
Make sure the clamp is TIGHT, or otherwise the tube will slip.
Now, lube the insert.
Put it on the end of the tube, and squeeze the heck out of it.
Make sure the insert goes down straight, or you'll end with something like this:
Now, once you have a centered hole, put the plunger back, without the insert, and drive it in.
You should end with something like this:
Now, clean up the burrs, and you're done.
Hope it helps.

Don't forget to slide the flare nut onto the line before you make your flare or you'll have to cut it off and do it again. And make sure you put the nut on in the right direction. I've made both mistakes and it's annoying as hell.
