Redoing the system in my 93 Gs

Its been awhile since i've been here. But I thourgh you guys/gals would enjoy this. My last system was all Kicker that consited of:
1 Kicker Zx1500.1
1 Kicker Zx200.2
1 Kicker Ks6.2 Conponets
1 Kicker 15" L7 solobaric
I loved this seftup. I ran this setup for about a year and a half. The best it did was a 145 legal on the dash. Well for the 09 season I want a 150+ DB Club sicker. So you have pay the cost to be the boss. So out with the old.

then cut a place for some Kinetick 2400 (only have 1 but going to add another)

That amp is bad a-- i have the exact same one pushing a 15" fi btl and puts out alot more then 3000w rms as long as you have the electrical system to feed that monster.

you right...my ele needs somemore upgrade before i can get the full power out of it. it does 3k rms @ 12.5. but it will do over 5k on 16 volts. i plan on adding 1 more amp, 3 more kinetik 2400, and 2 200 amp alternator before its all done. the sub are custom built so they will take 3k like your btl. my plans where 2 15" btl but i got a great deal on the sundowns so they the way i went. also the amps are on sale now for 750

Ok guys its been almost a year since i've posted anything on this site. I have been working hard on my baby and she has been thru a few stereo setup so i'm going to post what been going with it. I still haven't got to the 150 db mark yet. My best score to date is a 148.7 and i'm still working on it.

That setup got me up 147.3
now for what i'm working on now










There is alot more work that needs to be done to this setup. Its been fiberglass (2 layer on the outside and 3 on the inside) but still needs to be braced. I used 4 Hifonics Butrus sub to do my testing and came up with 148.3 . I feel pretty good about this setup. But when i get more money i'll be changing the subs to Sundown 12" Z.V2's and adding another 3k watts so the subs will be getting 1500 watts rms ea. There on getting 750 watts rms now and the Hifonics really don't like that much more so I have to keep the amp turned down. I think when i get the other subs i'll hit that 150 mark. I'll post some pics in a few weeks.
