Put one coat of paint, wait 5 mins, put another one and after another 5-8 mins put third one. Wait an hour for paint to dry and put 3-4 coat of clear. Always put tack coat (dust coat) of clear on first, spray the following coats on wet.

400 grit for regular paints 600 for base coat paints. You have to wait a while sometimes a month before wet sanding it smooth or waxing. Do a little research, ask for manufacturers instructions.

Best to leave clear coat sitting at least in 75F weather for a couple days before you wet sand it.
You want to put 3-4 coats of clear, meaning you will spray one coat of clear, let it flash for 5 minutes and then follow with the rest, allowing 5-7 minutes between each coat.

yeah i fucked it up lol. i sanded too soon and faded the paint in some spots. fairly easy to fix but i cant be bothered. its only noticeable in the shade anyways. put on another 3-4 coats of clear. when its dry its going on the car. it looks way better then it did and its already nicer the then the rest of my car.
