Air Intake

Post by NateBaden »

I have read the FAQ's about cheap intakes but they really don't answer my question.
1994 Mx-3 GS 1.8L 6cyl

i want to replace the stock airbox with a cone air filter and heat shield, but there is the small tube attached to the airbox, it goes to the throttle body and i dont know how i'm going to re-attach it without the airbox.

If anyone could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

You'll have a port on the new intake piping to attach it to. Or you'll create that port. Or you'll use a breather for the hose.

1 of those options...

I enjoy swiping vacuum/washer fluid elbows from scrap yards.

Then I drill holes in intakes, and silicone them in, making nipples for lines such as that.
Now with Moderator power!
