It's actually tape, they come in approx 30cm pre curved strips (you get about 20+ of them) and you just have to carefully apply them. It is best to take the wheels off the car so you can lay them flat and match each strip up as you go. I haven't seen my car moving with them on (as I'm always inside it) so I can't say what they look like when it's rolling, but stood still, the effect is awesome :D

Good job! Congratulations on the deal! It would look better, IMHO, if you paint the hood, and lip. The wheels look wayyy better. I recommend painting the wheel nuts.

I HATE the wheels in the last couple of pictures!

Paint the wheel nuts? Or buy some lightweight anodized ones like these? :)

The wheels were looking great until some tool in a truck ran me off the road and drove off and caused me to scuff them

I like seeing MX-3s in beautiful locations :)
Congratulations on getting in a magazine! I can barely read it, though.

Lol, ran out of money for the month now. Future plans are to make a Cold Air Intake using custom silicone hoses and a cone filter, find some lowering springs (or coilovers), sort the front end out (new bumper and wing are needed!) and then source a turbo or even supercharger (I've heard an MX5 supercharger will go with a bit of tweaking).

I've just ordered a sexy new gear shifter gairtor you will be jealous of Sleele, carbon effect with blue stitching
