Yeah, I understand all of the science behind everything. I am just trying to find an intake that will fit a 92/93 4 cylinder. Those year models used the older VAF setup, which is heavy and huge unlike the 94/95 which used the smaller MAF setup that is just a uniform cylinder shape and only two pounds.

Can't interchange intake meters. If you've got a VAF, you're stuck with it. Get the adapter plate/make one.

and WAI will increase mileage, where CAI will increase power. Unless its restrictive, or poorly designed in general.
Now with Moderator power!

Black '93 BP RS - wrecked, parted, scrapped.
Green GS - Sold.
Black GS - Summer DD/Race car - Fancy KLZE
Red GS - K8-ATX -> MTX-KLDE - Frakencar. Scrapped
White GS - Rusty. Parts. Scrapped
1997 BMW M3 - my summer baby
2002 BMW 325Xi - sold
2003 Forester Xti - EJ20K swapped.

Yeah I know that they are not interchangable. I currently have a 3" sri but was wanting to step down to a 2.5".

Has anybody used the intake from cosmoracing? It's alittle pricey but it is still cheaper than a weapon-r and it will work and fit on my 93 sohc.
