Klde swap

Ive been told a few different things by this question and i dont know what the best answer is.
Now for the klde mx6 v6 swap into the gs mx3, do you keep the original tranny from the gs when you swap in the KLDE motor or do i use the KLDE tranny in it? Ive heard of people saying both. I am curious to what you guys have to say about it. Thanks!

The Probe tranny is identical to the MX-3 tranny. IF you get your DE from an MX-6 or 626 it is still exactly the same size and shape but has different gear ratios and a different final drive ratio.

Any transmission from any K series engine can be interchanged. IF the question is SHOULD you..that's a different question. Opinions vary.

mainly i was just wondering if you even could keep the originally tranny from the gs and if it would even work with the KLDE engine and if so, what is usually recommended to use for a tranny if you do the KLDE swap.

Large majority keep the stock trans, only a few swap to the Mx-6/626 trans.
