Go out and buy some engine seal conditioner. Add 2 bottles at oil change and if there has been any drying of your internal seals this should help out. Don't wait too long. You can tell if there's been any seal problems, when you start the car after it's sat for 2-3 days you'll get smoke from the exhaust. Oil seeping past the valve seals. Anyway congrates on the car, I'm sure your buddy is smiling down at your lucky a**.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Welcome to the forums, seems to be a clean whip man. Sorry about your friend, I know what you've been through, last year my best friend passed away in May, and now another friend of mine passed away just last month. Anyways, good luck with your 3 and welcome :)

OK there will be no ripping. A hair dryer, not heat gun may soften the glue so you can remove the chrome without ruining the paint or have them removed professionally. I like the spoiler.

She's beautiful, keep the pics coming :)

Also, if you ever get sick of the stainless on the wheel wells... lemme know, I'd rock that all over the place :) Or, if you happen to know where they came from, that would help too!

It's good to see more Oregonians with 3s, I'm happy all over the place about it!!

nightbrewer wrote:Im keeping the spoiler but will lose the fender things. I dont think its ricy at all, I think the spoiler compliments the car. Trust me.. in less than 2 years this cars bite will equal its bark. Plus I need the extra downforce on the rear in the sweepers at 120mph+ . Wont a race be a little silly with only 88HP on tap and stock suspension? How many other mx-3s are expected to be there?
Getting rid of them eh? I'll take them off your hands for a fair price =)

I think they'd compliment some of my other ideas for my car... if you're willing to part with them!

Heres an update. I sold my truck so now this car is my main transportation now..except for motorcycles. I have the parts car and will rob all the gs goodies from it this summer. I will be going with 17" wheels and new tires soon because mine are about to blow. Also I will buy the projector headlights and black altezza tail lights soon to make the car look more modern. There is somone selling a turbo ford escort gt in the area for $2500. I WANT THIS MOTOR!! Wife says no we dont have the money but I cant deal with 88hp for long so a more convincing argument is in order. My 30 year old street bikes make more power! If I cant buy the turbo than a regular bp will have to do by august. The car is great, it handles like a go-kart. Its lightweight, at the truck scale it weighed only 2350lbs. With only 88hp it feels slow but not as slow as you would expect from an 88hp car. I cant imagine how good it will feel, even with all the wheel spin with more than 200hp on tap.
