newb question

newb question

im going to be changing my wires and plugs myself for the first time later tonite or tomorrow, i have the klze in my mx3 so when i go to lordco or Canadian tire to buy new ones what should i tell them i have? i understand the engines are the same but do they require differnt wires and plugs?

No, the K8 plugs and wires are all the same to the ZE.

edit: i forgot to ask, i will be needing a feeler gauge right? and what should the plugs be gapped to?

You're better off to get a set for the MX-6. They're a little longer and allow you to route them the way the ZE is normally done.

He's correct! the 7mm NGK wires are the best.

man i priced out some lines by ngk $160 bux plus tax and they dont stock them! does this seem right?

Yeah they're crazy expensive because of the design of the plug caps. Try ebay.

Yea those would work bu u'd have to wait for em to come... go to lordco and get a set of NGK wires with the account number 21798 and they should be like 100-110 CAD.

thanks for the constructive comment solo_ryder, i changed over my plugs runs 100 times better and i did it myself which may not seem like a big deal but it makes me feel good lol
