nice job, i love to see stock motors boosted... it almost seems like a prerequisite on this forum to buy a BP or KL , not many unique cars like yours
whats the story behind the steel intercooler pipes ? obviously cheaper then aluminum, did you bend them or buy the mandrel bends from an exhaust shop ?

Hey thanx man. It does mean a lot coming from you. I know you are no stranger to boost or a td05 16G on the B6. As far as the pipes go.. I wanted something that would look good and not be full of couplers. Less points to fail in my opinion and a little cleaner. My bro used the same type in his MKIII supra.. as I see it, if it'll work with 500 hp, ~200 should work for my needs. That and my buddy is great welding steel... not so much aluminum.JWMX3 wrote:nice job, i love to see stock motors boosted... it almost seems like a prerequisite on this forum to buy a BP or KL , not many unique cars like yours

Edit:
The local shop has plenty of mandrel bends on hand.

Bye bye old seats. Hello B-pillar bar
and yes, I know it's messy.. Just wait, the new seats and "stock" look will be next.

Is it close to the color you wanted ?
When i dropped it off @ powder, the guy showed me 5 blue samples..I just chose from memory which one I thought was closest to your intercooler piping
looks good

The blue is a little light, but will work just fine. Thanx for making a great product.

dude, i have to tell you... you've inspired me.
i was thinking about doind the v6 swap for mine, but after this, i want your setup. although i'm going a litle less into detail. i do have to thank you for the IC pipes setup. i was wondering how to go about it...
would you mind taking a pic of the hot side of the IC? i see you running to the pass side of the car, but have no idea where you went from there.
thanks!
