Re: K-sport Big Brake Kit
I bet they work awesome, and they better for $1,600! Of all the MX-3s that I know of that race, I don't think any of them would think that a kit like that is necessary. It looks awesome.
I'll put it on my "future mods" list
If you're consistently going 100 on a track, and have all the regular brake upgrades, and are still experiencing brake fade, there are write-ups for larger diameter rotors, for a total of less than $100.

Re: K-sport Big Brake Kit
This would be basically an aesthetic upgrade. It probably works better than stock but is so far beyond what is necessary for even track use as to make it stupid in my opinion. If you want the look and have the money I would say sure. But if you want better brakes and think that this is the way to go I would call that a poor decision.
Also those rotors will weigh a ton and this kit will require the use of 17” wheels adding a total of about 25lbs per wheel when it’s all done.

Some members of the Dutch community have these.
They are really awesom !! When you press the peddle you KNOW you're stopping the car (perhaps you still keep going)

Oh my bad, read the wrong thing LOL.
EDIT: No nvm, your link was different. In the first link it says they're 11" discs and only 15" rims are required.

Re: K-sport Big Brake Kit
Well I want to see how they get that caliper to bolt to the stock spindle without using a 15" rotor. If someone buys a set of these for MX-3 I would really like to see the brackets.
EDIT: I've been thinking about this all evening and as nice as they are I just couldn't spend that much money on it. I would like to see how they bolt everything up though.

Re: K-sport Big Brake Kit
Translation...
This is an IMPORTANT message for anyone who sports a K-set screw under the mx-3 does!
This week I kicked around by the brakes, which in a very happy moment, namely in the laundry, but it also had serious consequences to unpack!
The brackets of the brake hose stuck coilover that is curved to fit (eg you yourself or as in our case by Jeroentje Tuning).
What makes the brake hose from the car under load (eg several persons andor heavy stuff in the car) can be cut!
I have some pictures of it:
<picture>
Left of the orange nut is the auction seam along which the brake hose ruptures
<picture>
And am working on a better solution! (this I will report later)
I encourage everyone who has K-sport schoefset sit underneath,
PLEASE ALSO CHECK THIS GO!
And when you adjust the brackets to wipe traces of wear on the hose or car will sit, see photos:
<picture>
Also on the front brake hose to the helm in the utmost concern to the shock (which may eventually cause the brake hose to wear and it is a rejection AKP) both left and right see picture.
<picture>
Not really pertinent regarding the big brake kit...but whatever.

Re: K-sport Big Brake Kit
By the looks of the pictures in that link, I would have to move the brake line.
