Just went and got these for mx-3 last weekend. I got size 195/60/15, anyone else running this tire?
I think it grips well, not noisy, good impression overall. i got them siped also $9 per tire. I drove on some black ice and they grip wonderfully. They also come with 65K warranty.
I went to discount tire website to leave my review and it says I can't leave review since that tire won't fit my car lol....apparently it does. Am I only one who's running this size tires?

Re: Falken Ziex ZE-912
well most ppl run the stock size of 205 55 15 if they have the gs model. 195 60 will also work, and they are abit cheaper. Im running the falken 512's right now and I lived em when I had em.. To bad they didnt last long, but that is because of the 55 profile, they were a V rated tire.. You will proly get more life out of yours.. I also hear the 912s are quieter then the 512's..

Ya 912's are higher rated but 512's supposed to handle better...
That was the size on the car when i got them, i figured these skinnier tires would get me better mpg. It's just my daily driver so it doesn't have to have top of the line tires.

I thought about getting tall skinny low rolling resistance tires for my stock car. I'd like to know how it works for you.

Re: Falken Ziex ZE-912
sorry to hijack - this isn't related to falkens but it is related to skinny tires.
My winter wheels are some Michelin Hydroedge 185/65/14 on some cheap 14" american racing rims... I must say I've probably got close to 80,000 miles on these tires and they still have plenty of tread and handle amazing (for what they are)... I've had them for 5 years now...
So I'm not sure if it's because of the design or profile but they are fantastic!

Probably harder tire compound too. Of course these same tires would be at 50K miles if I went with 50 series. So deal here is that 60 series have a lot of meat on them.
