Black plastic covers under car

Post by Mariob316 »

Are the black plastic covers under the car important? Yesterday i slipped on a turn and hit a snow bank xD thankfully the black covers were the only thing that broke off. Does anyone know where to get them? ( I know the scrap but they are closed in the winter )

I took mine off a LONG time ago. Never replaced them, and never had a problem...

Bwahaha!
What sucks is when kittens crawl in there :crying:
Yeah, I went there.

It's a good idea to have those splash shields intact, but not detremental. I haven't had mine on for 5 years, and I live in the rainiest part of north America :(
If I lived where they salt the roads, I'd make some, and put them on. I made a cover for the entire bottom of the front of my car, from the lip to just behind the front wheels. It was easy to make (out of an election sign), and keeps everything out. I mostly made it for aerodynamics.

I hate that! I either bend/fold it down or just let the oil drip off the cover.
