[WTB] Climate Control Slider Caps??
Yep! That is what I am looking for. I have been through all the junkyards and come up with close matches but it seems that the climate control setup is unique for 95 for the 93 setup has bigger knobs. If anybody has a pair of these for a reasonable price then I will definitely buy them. I need them for a 1995 Mazda MX-3.
Thanks,
Keith
Thanks,
Keith

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Re: Climate Control Slider Caps??
'95+ doesn't necessarily have the logic climate control. My '96 had the manual slider controls until I swapped in the logic one. You'll wanna specify either cable type or logic type, not year.

Re: Climate Control Slider Caps??
I'm not looking at replacing the whole unit just trying to find the black caps that fit on the slider.

Re: Climate Control Slider Caps??
I realize that. But the point is, if you specify that you want the caps off either the cable type or the logic type climate control, then you'll get the right caps. Saying what year vehicle you want them off of won't guarantee you anything.jkbreazeale wrote:I'm not looking at replacing the whole unit just trying to find the black caps that fit on the slider.

Re: Climate Control Slider Caps??
Ok so I guess all that I need to do is take out he climate control and see if it is cable controlled. If it just has a wiring harness that means it's logic correct?

Re: Climate Control Slider Caps??
They'll all have a wiring harness. The difference is that the logic controller uses digital push buttons to change the airflow from floor, vents, etc, whereas the cable type uses slides to change the airflow mode and you can actually feel a wire being pushed and pulled inside of the cable as you move the slider.jkbreazeale wrote:Ok so I guess all that I need to do is take out he climate control and see if it is cable controlled. No need to remove the climate control. There are only two types, and it's pretty straight-forward to tell the difference between the two.
