i just lost my job last week but if i can put away 50 or 60 every few weeks plus sell some of my excess parts i could have enough in a couple of months... i really want this and it would help with the weight of adding AWD to my mx3

no not yet...

I was supposed to have the money... then I bought some other mx-3 stuff haha

this is one of the things I want to get done soon! maybe next month...

I know Jarid's been super busy and so have all of us Oregon mx-3ers...

News: We just dropped off 4 sheets of material, and took the glass out of a spare hatch, and dropped it off, too. We will have 4 sets of lightweight hatches in a couple weeks! When they're done, we'll post pictures, and see who's still interested

What did you go with in terms of thickness? 3/8" ??

It is 3/16" thick, and 48"X60", which is just barely big enough. If we make more, we'll get 48X62, unless this size works well.
What did you end up doing?
It looks like we can still do it for $350, if we get at least 5 people to pay up front.

That seems really thin. I would suggest at least 1/4"

I was looking at 3/8" but I have not gotten around to doing it since I blew two motors last summer

Ill wait to hear back from you guys with the results using 3/16"
