Looks more like it was modeled after a geo metro, not long enough wheelbase, but the headlights are close, and the side profile shows what could be taken as a rear GS spoiler. Also, the hatch is wrong, you can't see glass from the side, just a big B pillar.

Rugrats... seriously... you need something more to spend your time on. However, if that had to be a rendition of a real car, I would say it had MX roots. Also, thank god Mazda did not make a green MX with a silver lower stripe...

holy crap it does look like an MX-3!

and I remember this episode.. it's funny how when you re-watch shows when your older you see things you missed before.

edit:

and it gets me to wondering if anyone has ever thought of a RWD MX-3. Stupid idea to me but.. we've had stupid questions on here :lol:

lol not sure how or why you found this in a rugrats clip haha... :confused2: :lol: here's a higher quality version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ehb36wakcGw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I guess it does kind of look like an mx-3 if they hadn't blacked out the hatch...

the lights are the same, doors are same shape, bumper looks similar, the mx3 also has the opening on the front to let ain in, as you can see by the picture it has the same glass under spoiler setup as an mx3. I say it IS an mx3. possibly GS 1.8L
