Car sitting for a year..hard time running, press gas it died

ok...

so i'm try to get my mx-3 back up... last year about this time i had a starter problem and then a alternator problem... so i just let it sit..

now i want to get it back up...

over the year its been sitting i've been starting it adn running it here and there for a bit bc the alternator was still faulty.. however it ran fine...

now i put a new alternator in it and the car is having a hard time starting and running, at first it was cranking for a good 10 sec b4 she tried to fire up, then second time it fired up and was running rly rough and with low rpms... and after 2 sec it died... tried again and it ran rough again, once i hit the gas it died... after that she tried hard to start but nothing and i had to go to work... tomorrows another day just want some insight...

tomorrow's check list:

check if theres spark from all plugs
adjust disty
check MAF

what else should i check or what do you guys think this is?

its a 1995 mx-3 DOHC 5spd 2something km

fuel pressure, clogged gas filter/tanks screen, old stale gas....
