New To the Site - My MX

Post by 02C-KLZE »

I've had my MX-3 for about 4 years now. I put the KL-ZE in it about 3 years ago. Never posted anything about it, but this site helped me more than anything on the net when I did the swap, so I though I'd show it to you. Before the swap I knew nothing about cars. Just how to change the oil. Lol. I did the entire thing by myself with very little tools. Ended up breaking a couple of things in the process to, but now it runs great. This is still A LOT I want to do it. I'm still buying stuff for it, and just not putting it on. I'm going to get everything I want and then just throw it all on there at one time. So thinks for all the help guys...here she is.

I know, under the hood look aweful. I'm sorry you had to see it... I'll clean it up when I do everything else.

If you look you'll notice my brake fliud cap is missing...If you happen to know where I can get one, it'd be great. I've look everywhere

I hate my rims also, so no hard feelings here. I'm going to get some Konig Gold Feathers on it sometime. I didn't put those rims on it, and there is nothing more on that car that I hate more than those rims...

I have never found a junkyard anywhere around me that has an MX3, or even anything else that will fit. I've been to a lot, several time, and not found a thing. One place had one before I lost mine, but they cruched the car......It was a sad day.

Get a cap for your brake reservoir. Brake fluid will naturally draw moisture into itself resulting in the fluid becoming acidic thus eating the rubber seals and metal in your brake system. Secondly, you need to correct that snakes nest of ignition wires. That one wire is right over the exhaust manifold. Other than that welcome to the site and I look forward to your future posts.

You don't have and 626's, mx6's or probes in any junkyards around you? That's pretty hard to believe, 626's are a dime a dozen in my local junkyards.

even a 323 resevoir cap will fit. If its the same style looking, it probably is. Just pocket loot anyway.

kudos on the swap, lots of people simply don't have the intelligence or determination or work ethic.
