94 MX3 GS pushbutton or slider style hvac?

I am trying to find a dash harness for the pushbutton hvac system for the mx3 i'm building. I was in the windsor ontario canada area and found a black 1994 (i need to double check on the date) mx3 but it has the radio and hvac pulled already so I need to know a way to figure out which hvac system it has so i don't waste my time pulling the wrong one cause it will likely take me a full day maybe two to get this whole thing apart.

I know in the US the 94+'s had the push buttons.

The 94+ GS's all had pushbutton HVAC, but it was an option for the RS, at least in '94.

You sure about that? I swear I have seen gs's in 94 that have slider hvac, infact nicks's 95 has a slider hvac. It seems cars with air con have the push button hvac and non ac cars have sliders. Pushbutton ftw, at first I didn't like it much but I got used to it now I love it

is there even a way to install the push button one on the car that had the manual arms???

You will need the front harness as well, or to transplant about 8 wires from a front harness from an mx-3 with the push-button climate control.

I've just finished doing this swap...

My RS had AC and it has the slider controls. Maybe the GS's without AC have sliders.

I thought push buttons came with the 94 up interior no matter what the ac or trim?

i got a 93 with sliders... and i got a 94 RS with the buttons and AC (the different dash as well.) and i really don't think it be easy to swap them.... cuz one is manually controlled and the other is electronically......
Plz correct me if I'm wrong cuz it be nice to have buttons in my 93...

I've got a 94 with push buttons but I wanna swap in the 92-93 dash sometime and I'll have the luxury of both

Nope. I've gotta '96 RS that came with sliders. Swapped in the push buttons. Takes some harness swaps, but it's doable.

You need to swap in the blower unit with the motors, the air intake actuator motor, and the front and instrument panel harnesses from an Mx-3 equipped with the push-button control.

I've done this, it's not bad if you enjoy working on your car.

I just told you what you need to replace. ??? Took a couple days.

I have everything from a 94 rs but the dash harness won't work but i'm guessing the blower motor and stuff will work but the harness won't work cause i need the part of it that goes to the starter and alternator
