miatas are great little cars, but to be honest not practical at all... I need more than 2 seats these days... maybe as a stripped down toy for autocross would be fun. other than that no real use for a small convertable like that...

Miatas are like slightly smaller, less powerful RX-7 roadsters. I like them alot, I just cant fit into one is the problem. I hate when people say things about the Miata being a womans car, it is THE reason that many sports cars are even made today and it is one of the best performers in its price class for Auto-X. It might not be fast like people think a sports car should be but it does everything else a sports car should do great. It is one hell of a sports car for the price.

I can't remember where, but I was online and there was a guy with a Spec Miata that beat a modified porsche on a track. Even though the porsche had twice the power.

I havent had a miata...yet. I do have the miata rims tho ;) Since I don't like the mini mini van styling of the new hatchbacks, I know the mx5 will be my next car. I love it, but I do wish they bring back the mx3. Though I would not necessarily call it the mx3's cousin, more like the sister or metrosexual brother. depends on the version (base or touring respectively). The mx3 is the edgy little brother.

of 1995 costs no less than 25,000usd... so much to an old car...
