If you're a 6cyl only an MX-3GS is the same. If you're a 4cyl you can use a 90-94' 323, protege, Escort GT. Measure the overall length of your stock one and compare. I think they're all the same. I know that the bushings are.

In an absolute pinch even a GS could use one of those, it won't line up exactly right but I the ID's of the bushings should be the same.

My mistake, I noticed afterwards I posted in the wrong Forums. I apologise for broking such rules.

Back to topic, thank you very much for the quick reply! I have a 92 RS.

*EDIT* I do stuff like, brakes, pads, rotors, brake lines, shocks, struts, AC, ..basic mecanic stuff. So just at the top of ur head, if i had all the right tools (im guessing just a 1/2 impact/ratchet with sockets ranging from 10 to 24mm would do the job. no? among various other small tools.) how hard is to replace one?? im guessing its 2 bolts? but are they tricky to do? its to late to check, to dark also. I will go check the online manual for more details, but ur personal input would be greatly appreciated.

The top bolt, the one in the body, tends to rust very badly depending where you live and the climate. I don't know if rust is a problem in general where you are. If it is you may have a problem removing that bolt. Both the top and bottom bolt require a 17mm wrench. If the top bolt is badly rusted the nut can often spin in the cage that holds it. If it does you will have to cut it out with a grinder and/or rotary tool. That was the case for me last weekend. In the worst case, if you have to remove material to get to that nut, it will take you a couple of hours perhaps...and you will need to do some welding afterward.

Use some penetrating lube and let it soak for a few hours. Then use some more as you are removing the bolt. Break the bolt free and then turn it out 1/2 turn or so. squirt some more lube an turn it back in. Continue to do that, out, squirt, in. That will work the penetrant into the threads and help to release the bolt if it is rusty.

One side on my car came out easily...the other side would not come out at all. If it comes out easily, it's a 10 minute job.

I have the part that's colored red. Is that what you need?
