It's not hate, ok well some seem to really hate it...but if you're going to post it on the internet you're definitely going to get people's opinions. I think those sides would look awesome if the car was the same color, or if the sides were the same color as the car. I remember when I first got my MX-3 I was all excited and looking at body kits and planning on painting parts of my interior and stuff. But then I saw a few cars that were done that way and I realized that, for me, it looks cheap and seems sort of juvenile.

I'm not trying to be a d---, I'm just saying that a lot of people go through the phase you're going through, both young and old, and most come out of it going "what was I thinking???" so you'll find more people that don't like it than do. But if you like it that's the main thing.

Fair enough i understand where everyone is coming from but i like it and well that's all that really matters :D
I went with a interesting approach to the color its from Dupli-color MetalCast (MC-201 Blue)

Matches my Interior... :welder:

Nope, I like it too.
I'm kinda sick of ricers putting body kits in their cars and then going to any lengths to blend them in and make them look stock, so this "in your face" approach seems refreshing.
I've also tried the metalcast paint in the past, and it's probably the best looking Kandy I've ever seen in spray cans.

Also, I agree with Savin 100%. You're the one that has to look at the car every day. You're the one that has to like it.
After all, you know what they say about opinions... 8)

Hmmm, I've never used them. I used a bunch of Kandies for lexan, when I used to race R/C cars, but they're not quite as clear as the metalcast, and definitely nowhere near as shiny.
I guess now I'll have to try the HOK ones. Thanks for the tip. :)
