miata goodness
for those of you who wanted to know how well the miata lip fits on the mx3..
well it doesn't.
there's a lot of work involved in getting it to work
its not that the lip is too small, its that the front opening is too big compared to the mx3
so it needs to be cut in half and fitted, leaving the sides a bit smaller
it really doesn't affect me cause i was planing on molding and repainting
here are sum pics of what i have so far
don't mind the oil stained driveway haha
ill get better pics up later..

Re: miata goodness
Shaping up, looks like some effort though! I take it you're going to extend to the wheel arch?

Re: miata goodness
yeh exactly like that
ive always loved that look!!
it looks like u forced it into the middle
mine came sawed in two so it would cut down on the shipping cost..so i kinda had no choice
i trimmed an extra inch off the middle so the lower part didnt stick out as much
i think i pretty much got the height right tho
the sides i cant see fitting tho
did u mold it into the wheel well colin?

Re: miata goodness
after hours of sanding this is what i got so far..
it still needs more work
ill be shaving the top vent in between the headlights and maybe shaving the turn signals (and instead use the LEDs in the projector housing)
its a bit more stock looking than colins
but i think it still looks good
with lowering springs and some HID projectors itll look mean :p
might have to scrap the rear bumper and opt for a rounder styled one... wat do u guys think?
