Teaser pics. The grease grooves were not cut in the test molds. This was only to test the shrink rates and curing times. I don't think they plan to color code the finished product. Although I have to say I like the colorfulness of them alot.

According to the poly guy, shrink rates were within 0.05mm for all three hardnesses. That's +/- 0.002" of the dimension I indicated.

Is it possible to get both the RS and GS specific bushings (ie the 4 extra bushings or whatever that differ between the two)?

Mark, No.
Kast2L, excellent thank you.
Towona, Yes. In fact the rear trailing arm bushings are the only difference and they come from the same mold. They just have to be cut down for the narrower housing.
Jesse, Done.

Wyt... I thought the front inboard LCA bushing was different between RS/GS?

I'd like to change mine as well.... I want everything in the front suspension to be 90 and everything in the rear to be 70.

Also, I'd like to come help you do your install.

I will change your order. You are more than welcome to make the trip up and assist me with my install. I'm not absolutely certain yet when that will be. The molds are in production now and I expect they will be delivered this week to the poly guy. I am going to be sending them a request today for a "test set". I'm not sure how long it will take them to produce it. I'll let you know.

As for the differences from RS to GS...I checked and rechecked. I talked to my local Mazda parts man until he doesn't even want to talk to me anymore. I have had more than one member make measurements for me. I've done everything I can to be absolutely certain that I don't have stuff made that won't fit.

To summarize:

LCA bushings, there is only one part number for the control arm for all years and all models. There is only one part number for the front bushing for all years and all models. There are 2 part numbers for the rear bushing, but they do not change for model, only for year of production...pre and post 06/94.

Lateral Links, there is only one part number for either the front or rear lateral link for all years and all models. The rear subframe is the same, the hardware is the same.

Trailing Arms, there are 2 part numbers for trailing arms which change for model type. The front bushings are the same and the rear bushing on the GS arm is the same diameter but wider. The rear spindles are different but the shaft on the spindle that the sleeve of the rear bushing slides over is the same diameter.
