Those are the same shocks I used. This is the write up I did when I installed everything. I used the Eibach ZX2 springs as well but if you use different springs all the same information applies.

You will find that the strut rod in the ZX2 shocks you are buying is a larger diameter than the stock MX-3 shock. If you plan to reuse your MX-3 upper spring perches you will have to increase the diameter of the hole that the rod passes through. I bought the parts I needed to assemble the struts from a junk yard Escort ZX2 for very little. I suggest doing the same.

Thx for write-up!! Where do you think I can get the cheapest priced Eibach springs (might consider to save up for it - summer project)? Also, if I don't have access to air tool and impact I can still use red locktite, right? Is red locktite a type of bonding agent/compound? Thanks in advance.

I did not use impact tools on mine. Red Loctite would be sufficient.
