Re: Nice, clean shave...
I would like to know how to do this???? cause i was thinking about doing this to my doors too
Re: Nice, clean shave...
Wouldn't that crack after some time? I've never been lucky with using more than just a bit of bondo, but that could be because I suck with it. Wouldn't it be smarter to lay some fibreglass down behind it and then just bondo the gap?rekognize wrote:bondo?

Re: Nice, clean shave...
yeah, what i did was take out the key chamber, then i tacked in a piece of metal, holding the metal from behind in place with a screw driver i welded from the outside. you only need a couple tacks to keep that in place, then i used bondo glass to fill, i waited for that to dry and sanded it down smooth and went over it again with bondo. i sanded the bondo down smooth again and primed over it.

Yall didn't even notice that - "There ain't no fart-can hanging under there!" That is what makes it look a lot cleaner then any of the MX-3s on this forum, cause they all have a fart-can or two...

How are those "beefed up" axles holding up to that sweeet twin-turbo setup you got running?
