Is there anything keeping a 1992 Mazda Mx-3 from me installing Low Profile Tires?

I have 14s but they could go bigger of course. I meant for it to be broad because I don't have all of the details it was just an idea I've been pondering on for a while.

I plan on putting 17'' rim with 205/40/R17 tires on my MX3.

Well, basically, find out what size rims you want, and we can help you to figure out what size tire will fit.

It's the the total size of the wheel that is the question, and that is literally "size of the rim + size of the tire"

If you have any tires/wheel/rim related questions, try posting in the "Suspension/Brakes/Wheels/Tires" section:

with 18's you need a 35 series tire. with 17's i had a 40 series but i thought it was too small. i would of gone with a 45 series if i had to buy tires again for those rims.

if you go with a 215 45 17 you will get a SLIGHT rub in the front on the splash shield when at full turn... Nothing to worry about though.... Thats what I run, the 205 40 looks to small to me.

hey colin, so you got 215/45 17 thats with the car lowered? what springs? cause i will need some new tires soon, right now i got 205/40 17 but I do agree that it looks a bit small..... but wasnt sure if bigger would cause fitment issues.
