25 Anniversary SE *Now With Pics!*

Post by 93vtecklr »

After discovering what makes an SE, an SE, I was wondering if anybody knows of a company/manufacturer that could or does reproduce the "25 Mazda Canada" fender decals. Since my car was repainted by the previous owner they did, in their own stupidity, peel them off, and not replace. If anybody could help me out i would fall in love with them, er-----, appreciate it very much.

Yep go to the dealer, go to parts, they will punch in ure VIN and find the sticker you need. Don't go without ure VIN cause they won't find the sticker.

chances are, you won't find one for a 16 yr old car. Oh yeah, you do have to peel off stickers when repainting, if you are a reputable shop and not a Maaco.

Yes they will. I got a couple when I used to work in parts there the past 2 yrs... Mazda keeps parts on hand for 1984 RX7's, we had a regular guy come in for a resto he was doing ahah. It's not like FORD where they only keep parts on hand for the last 10 yrs befor they discontinue them.... Hence why I had to go to Mazda back in the day for Escort parts and use the Protege numbers!

Geez, my Xterra is an '03, 02-04 model year, and I wanted to get all-weather rubber floor mats last year. Nope! Discontinued! Quite sad. Got a new set from eBay.

Well, considering mazda sent nothing to the aftermarket, I'm going to try there first. Wish me luck I'm on the way out the door now. The guy who runs mazda here is a *coughcrookcough* so I hate going there

The only ones that mazda can get is the gs decals, but thanks to this site I took the img from the SE page and emailed it to my buddy at Canada Custom Vehicles.... And they'll try to reproduce it. If I can get them, I will upload pics to show you guys what they look like.

Here's the scoop, they'll make them....but there's a catch. They can't do the clear decal with print on the reverse. But what they'll do is digitize that image from the SE page and just do the "25 Mazda Canada" vinyl decal. It'll look exactly the same, but without the clear oval plastic oem shat. He's making a test print for me, 1cu. ft. black, so there'll be six pairs of black. Since all of you have helped me so much, I'll flip the bill. Whoever would like a pair, any colour you wish, just pm me your full address and I'll mail you a pair. Even if you want a humongous one for your hood they'll do it. These guys did a swap for me and they bend over backwards for the customer. Black, red, raspberry, silver, metallic, chameleon, whatever. Depending on how much the metallics cost if you want them I may ask you, in lieue of payment, to make a donation to mx-3.com in the amount the pair would cost. Leave a reply of what colour you'd like, quantity, pm your addy and we'll go from there. They're going to keep it on file so even if new members read this a year from now they'll still be able to get a pair. I ballparked the size at roughly 2".

Oh ya, if you do want to do something funky with the SE decal, they'll make it, and mail it out to you too. Give them a call at 403-340-8075. I can afford the 2" sheets, but a 40" I can't haha. They said it'd take a few days, prolly wednesday. I'll update as soon as I get more info for y'all. peeeeace
