Well hello... again.

Post by Flashpoint2 »

Hey guys! As I look around, I don't see too many familiar usernames, but I suppose that's gonna happen. It's been a *long* time since I've even logged into these forums, let alone post anything. For those of you who remember me, I moved to Calgary about a year ago, and decided that Calgary is the devil, so now I'm in the process of moving back to Welland/Niagara Falls. I sold my MX-3 not too long ago, and was awfully sorry to see it go. Fortunately, I know it went to a good home. In the meantime, though, I decided to buy a 2004 RX-8, and it's been a fantastic car... aside from the unbelievably terrible gas mileage :P Anyway, I'm looking forward to being able to cruise with the ontario crowd again, as long as you don't mind having an 8 tag along :D See you guys soon!

Buddy! Heh, so you've decided to come back, eh? So what's the plan? You find something around here work-wise yet?

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the drive back, between Kenora and just east of Thunder Bay. The rest of the way is all just divided highway, and not much fun. But it *will* be fun to see if I can hit 9000 RPM in 5th (as 6th won't do it) You (and everyone else) are welcome to meet me somewhere along the way and cruise the rest of the way back with me if you'd like. Especially if you need to break in a cluch! :D

I think Duncan wanted to take a trip to Thunday Bay on May24 weekend. It's a little ways off, and I'm not sure if that's a serious plan, but would work out well if that was the case.

Well, that would be sweet too! But I'll be back much before that. I think I'm heading out of here around the 16th or 17th, whatever days those happen to be. I'm too lazy to look it up right now lol.

Yea the drive from Kenora is pretty rad!! It's the only part of Ontario I really like seeing! You can pull it off in 17 hours if you just keep movin!

I'd have to agree :D When I moved to Calgary, I got from Niagara Falls to Thunder Bay in one day, and then from Thunder Bay to Calgary the next day. Each leg was around 18-20 hours of driving. But man, those roads between Thunder Bay and Kenora are a blast to drive. Or, they would have been if I hadn't had 500 pounds of stuff in the back of my car lol
