I think it's fair to put it up, even if you don't want to put it on the list.

So, what if I get out to the abandoned 1/2 mile of pavement on the other end of town, mark out 1320ft (402m) and using stop watches, flags, and two friends.....

does that count? The nearest track is... Gimli... about 3 hours away?

Does anyone care? I'm not the best driver, and I've got a B6ME.... No one would know if I cheated :P 18ish secconds!

I should take my race car to the track... then I should move up about 6 spaces

as far as a non-mx-3 on the list maybe it could be added below the list under "non mx-3 times" or something? I mean the list is JUST mx-3's right now... not that we don't want to include you...

I'll have my mom scan a picture of the slip when she's at work tomorrow:

Mods are listed in my sig

R/T .381
60' 2.297
330 6.332
1/8 9.689
MPH 73.08
1000 12.537
1/4 14.985
MPH 92.54

That was my best time tonight.. I raced against a new model Golf GTI.. He couldn't get any traction and I beat him (14.985@92.54 vs 15.789@98.03)

I could get better times if it wasn't so annoying shifting into 2nd.. it locks me out for a second before letting me throw it in gear.
14.985@92.54 MPH

Red 93 MX-3 GS, KLZE, 5 speed, Act clutch, short throw shifter, HEI w/blaster 3 coil, PIAA ultra white headights, CAI, Apexi Dunk muffler w/2.5 inch cat back, Avital alarm, dark tint, Sony Xplode 52x4 head unit, Clarion speakers in the front, Pyramid 6x9's in the back, Volfenhag 2000 watt amp, 3x crappy MTX 10 inchers.

Yeah my tranny is starting to frustrate me too...still driveable, but some of the gears are getting bleh :x

Waiting another year, then when I have a job I will do a full rebuild w/ bigger gears and an LSD in preparation for a turbo that the woman will need to approve

Decent times, but your MPH should be higher!

It was my first time ever racing at a 1/4 mile track. Car isn't running 100% of what it use to.. It's sputtering a little bit, certain rpms it goes away and the car pulls harder but yeah, not sure what's causing it.

I avoided the water box, and I lowered my front pass tire down to 25psi. I let go of the clutch at 3k rpms and gunned it.. I had some wheel skip but I'm still a novice at launching at a strip. I had a half tank of 93 octane gas in it as well.
