First off, we never said you need a OBDII scantool, you need a freaking paperclip. Don't tell me you don't have one of those for use at your house.

that is because your car is not obd2

obd2 started in 1995 and up.

for 95 plus cars they are under the steering wheel on the drivers side.

93's don't even have one. Some 95's do since SOME were OBDII. And, of course, 96's did. (Darn you projectzemx3)

Everyone just needs to stop arguing. It is quite ridiculous. Granted, it was funny at first, with the Gameboy pic, but still.

Mx3kid, you may have fixed your problem, but others were just trying to help. They said to pull codes, and you said you wouldn't or that you needed a scantool. The scan tool is a paperclip of your year car. All you had to do was put it where it needed to go and count the flashing "check engine" light. Takes a whopping 3 minutes, if that.

Some of the members help in mysterious ways...*cough* SuperK *cough* But others just tell it how it is, so just deal with it.

Problem's fixed.

Soooo...yeah
Mx3Kid16 wrote:dude.. nobody said anything about a paperclip or i would have gone out there..
you are SOOOO wrong.
SuperK wrote:Seriously, pull the stupid codes. 15 minutes could save you 1500 dollars or more on your car, assurance!
And your code reader consists of a paperclip. Have at it. Go to town.

If you're not going to pull your codes, we're not going to help you.
SuperK wrote:your "Code-Checker-Thingey" device that looks "like a game boy"
is in all actuality, a paperclip, or small piece of wire. You are telling us that you're too lazy to walk out to your car, pop your hood, bend a paperclip to two little terminals, and write down a flashing light.

And that "checker" thing, which is indeed a paper clip or small piece of wire, tells you why your engine isn't running at a "Mechanical Homeostasis" so to speak.

Checking your codes is elementary. Very, so very elementary.

I rubbed my hands together with glee when I saw this pop up under new posts, and who had the latest comment.

You Fail At Life.

Urban Dictionary wrote:To do very badly at life. It is much worse than just sucking. You should most likely kill yourself if you fail at life. It is your best option.
similar to suck at life, but substantially worse.

1. to fail at every attempt to contribute too society, any attempts at talent, and often any attempt to breathe.
2. a phrase used when someone does something terribly wrong that frustrates another.

A term used to describe a person who is incapable of making any valuable contribution to their day to day life.

So far, you can't read and a paperclip has outsmarted you. And it's not even the stupid paperclip from Microsoft Office, either.

Yeah, that paperclip's outsmarted you too.
