auto b6 tranny on a bp?

one of my buddies has a 323 automatic tranny and he has a b6 in it i believe but he wants to get a bp motor and he can get only the motor will the stock b6 auto tranny bolt right up to the bp motor? thanks guys

yes.

But I'm sure much of the wiring will be different. some of the 323 B motors are actually a bit different than the rest. Wiki says its just a bored out B3, which is a teeny motor made in the early 80's, which were actually carbed. You'll add a factor of 1/3 to your WHP, I would expect that tranny to take a shat if he hammers it.

Just take the G tranny with it. Manual swaps aren't so bad.
