i installed my AFPR tonight. .. i took off the stock one..and put on the adapter.. with a o-ring..and gasket sealer.. torqued it down to 7-10nm + jsut incase.. and i go to start the car.. and i get a geyser.. yeyyyy...
only thing i can tell is that the stock one..actually goes into the fuel rail...and the one i got flushes up with it.. how can i fix this..
gas geyser
Re: gas geyser
Can you post a pic of the one your have so we can see.
Edit; Gasket sealer??? You don't use gasket sealer on fuel systems unless this is something supplied by the manufacturer. Secondly, if there's a O ring then torque has nothing to do with the sealing, that's taken care of by the O ring.

Re: gas geyser
its a ebay cheap one..but very nice lol...well i wanna make sure too then... the line into the afpr is at the back..and the time to the fuel rail is on the bottom? lol ( didnt come with instructions) figured it made sence liek that.... i think the oring is kinda small so im gettin one that fits right tonight..but could it be cause the hole wasnt lined up perfect? .. i dont have any pic..but i wish i did of the geyser ..
Re: gas geyser
Umm cheap eh? No bargain if it doesn't work right or isn't configured to work on your car. Return it and by one from Cosmo. The FRP is a pretty important item. I just directed another member to buy a Cosmo one and he said there was a definite improvement in the higher RPM range on his ZE. Set it to 45PSI.
