I was hoping that some people could help clear up whats going on with this thing. I may purchase it but there is some intake/engine confusion. Its at a dealer and they have no clue. It was a trade in.

You have two logical choices:
1993-97 KL (Ford probe GT) w/K8 Intake manifold (find a KL Manifold and EFI ASAP)
1992-96 K8 (Mazda Mx-3) w/ Ford Probe KL front valve cover

Easy, look at the head codes. If you see KL.... the you know what you got. If you see K8.... you know what you don't got.
