benefit to using the 2.5L kF intake monifold vs stock1.8L?

If I went to a junk yard to buy a Kf manifold vs using my stock 1.8L one is there gain in horse power since there different?

Maybe...could try

BTW, a 2.5 is a KL, not a KF. The KF is a 2.0L not available in North America

Maybe at the top end, but unless you matched the VRIS points, and port matched the heads, I think it would harm your overall performance.
Say you got 4hp at 6,000rpm, you'd still get a slower 1/4 mile, 0-60, etc., because your power curve would be screwed. You'd probably have nothing until 6K.
I could be totally wrong, though, and I love when people try stuff :wink:
