No they wont work.
In a sohc engine design the cam operates both the intake and exhaust valves .
In a dohc engine design there are 2 cams, 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust.

I use a tapered T/B spacer for a years. I machine one from 20mm aluminum in the R&D shop for my old 8V 1.6 SOHC until the car was scrapped. It was actually slightly smaller in diameter that the TB. It help to smooth out air flow at part throttle because as the throttle plate tip toward the air stream it creates turbulance before the TB. The spacer helps to smooth out the air flow to go around and over the leading edge of the throttle plate rather than swirl in front of it. At WOT the spacers smaller diameter causes venture effect behind TB creating higher air velocity within the IM. The end result the better fuel economy, more power at low/ mid throttle positions. There was no loss at the top end as result were inconclusive as to if the gains were from the spacer as don't consider a change of less than +/- 1hp a change but torque was up at peak.

price for pulley and $$ for new smaller pulley belts not worth it if u want a 1hp upgrade and yes the sohc and dohc use the same pulley

SOHC is mainly OBDI, but if you have a late 93 (maybe early 94?) there may be some uncertainty.
