WTB: Front Struts parts

Post by Meanie »

I'm looking for some parts for the front struts, 2 of each. Dust cover, bound stopper, rubber spring seat, thrust bearing and maybe the upper spring seat, not sure of the condition of mine yet.

Anyone have any of these, please let me know your asking and shipping price to 48073.

Thank you

The ZX2 struts are a little bigger, actually. The rod out the bottom (to bold to your hub) is a bigger diameter, and I believe the springs are also differnet diameters....

So the callback / safety guards don't fit.

All of the parts he noted in the top post are identical with the exception of the stoppers which will have a slightly larger bore and will be loose on stock MX-3 shocks. But they will work. I have all of these parts on my MX-3 from a ZX2 Escort. I am using Tokico shocks for the Escort so the stops fit, but everything else would fit right onto any MX-3.

A bit eager, huh? You tell me what you want for them and I'll determine how bad I really need them. It is a certain I need the dust boot and the bound stopper, the rest I'm uncertain until I view the old ones. THerefore, let's read your asking price.

Thanks

buying this stuff brand new is not too expensive, plus the added confidence in how long they are going to last.
