Man. trans prob!!!!

Post by jaythewolf1985 »

hey guys, first off i went to change the trans oil in my car and after when i went to fill it up and removed the bolt that i though was the fill bolt just above the backup switch on the front side of the trans in the engine bay i pull the bolt out and heard something drop inside. now with the tires still in the air and i spin one by hand i heard some clickin/lite grindin. now would anyione know what droped or what that bolt holds up and how should i go about fixin the problem!! thx.

no never drove the car after that i just decided the next day to drop mthe trans and open it up to be safe and not to destroy the trans. it ended up being a reverice idler shaft the fell over when the bolt was removed.
