sorry man u gotta check into stuff... yes it has really nice rims and an engine swap but those things to a person buying a car doesnt add up to what you spent.

This is the most expensive one i could find in alberta and it has everything but an engine swap and a lot more for $6000 http://www.canadatrader.com/result/deta ... srt=1&mp=0 full body kit new paint rims. I dont know why the pic for it doesnt show up...

All I have to say is good luck.

p.s.
I think you could get about $5000

7000 dollar, thats very overpriced!!

alot of the ZE's are low mileage so its not that special if you ask me.
the car is not that special, no bodykit or something similar, just set of nice wheels...

good luck getting it sold for that price!

With all due respect the engine upgrade adds no value to the car. It's worth exactly the same amount of money as a similar condition stock MX-3. Mods are only of value to someone who would choose to do exactly what you did and would rather buy your work than pay to do their own.

A really, REALLY nice MX-3 in Edmonton is worth $5000. Yours isn't. Not trying to be a d---.

Having said that, if you decide to part it out next year I'll take the engine off you probably.

If you're going to get that much for it, it won't be on MX-3 forums.

$5500 is a decent price a would try putting it in your local paper and autotrader.ca thats where most people find there cars.
If no offers try selling the rims seperate.
Its a pain in the a$$ trying to sell a car with rims on it and get anything for them where you can sell them separate for a lot more

For $5500 you need to correct these deficiencies. IMO
The Bad's,
- Rust on passenger rear quarter panel, and small spot on hatch
- Crack in bumper
- Front bumper needs new paint job or new bumper
- All the usual scratches and dents(only a couple) that come with a 15 year old car, however they are highlighted that much more from the "new finish" i put on recently.

I personnally wouldn't post any bads. Get the kid behind the wheel, let him feel the power and you've got a buyer. (make sure they're already insured/licenced or your company won't cover them)
