Please, what kind of colour did you use to paint the cylinder block? It seems like it can easily withstand high temperatures, I need to paint my 626's block as well. Thank you for answer.

Crap, running outta room for my external wastegate... I'll take some pictures on the weekend. Had to make another collector for the wastegate, combining the two sides.

That's a Garrett GT3071R that I got from Full Race, you're looking at $1500 for that turbo with a divided port.

I'll post some pictures of it mounted on the engine when I get back to it on the weekend to finish the external wastegate merge collector thingy...

Still contemplating getting it extrude honed... $500 is kinda pricey for what little I may gain.

Ha, you like to start your posts with the word "Crap" haha.

Anyways, Shades, this build is legit. I cant wait to see this car at the mx-west meet...

Btw, you still got those 4 spoke rims on the car?

Isnt that turbo the "Disco potato" ? Or is that the gt2871?

Oh yeah, I've still got them Axis Maglite's. All scuffed up cause I'm a terrible driver... damnit!

No No No... that's bigger than the Disco Potato I was initally gonna get. That's a GT3071R... slower spool up but more top end... I'm hoping the divided port will give me a little better spool up.

Well she's all tacked up ready to take to the welder tomorrow. My welder is doing it for beer and the good thing is that he welds sprinkler piping so he knows how to weld around.

This is it in all her glory with the very odd wastegate piping...

I'll have to keep an eye on this. I'm using the GT3071R on my KL hybrid once I get everything together... It will be interesting to see how they compare.
