Bilstein strut question

Post by The General »

I noticed that on Corksport they recently added the bilstein rear strut pair, but I dont want to get just the rear set. So couple questions, if a full bilstein set exists where can I get it. How good are they, I know bilstein is quality stuff so. Anyone know what springs would match good with those struts if a full set exists?
Thanks, Aaron

I have them on my red k8 car - full set. They're oem replacement, so they wont be happy with a big drop. I have them with -40mm springs, I think they'd be better suited to -30mm eibachs really. They've held up though, over a year and no leaks, but they do sounds 'clicky' over bumps. Handling is much better over stock, not sure how much of that is springs/shocks though.
