starting issue
ok i got everything back together after the headgasket change and the plugs and vacuum lines the best i could. i now go to start it and it cranks strong but will not start, also the oil and charge light are on even when i turn the key off and remove the key?
Re: starting issue
Have you checked for spark and for fuel? Look at the online manual. It is great help. Check out this http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php ... F1-020.gif
Re: starting issue
i got it started, turned out that i undid the ground bolt by the brake booster so the ground could readh the terminal on a bigger battery i was using. its running pretty rough though now, no check engine lights have tripped but i know some of the vacuum lines are not right and some of the pcv and egr plugs, can anyone take some pics and post where the white brown and green larger plugs go? i'm doing a compression check tomorrow to make sure the head is sealing up after i put it back on, other then that i need to get the lines right and last resort the TB might be a tooth off.
Re: starting issue
ok, i guess the compression is fine, for an engine with 149k anyway. heres the numbers i got. there is less than a 10% deviation between all cylinders and i thought that 15% was the limit?
