car stalls when turning left.

Post by 94mx3precidia »

Every so often when i turn on a hard left my car shuts off. my radio cuts out and my tach drops but when i straighten out everything turns back on. I heard that it was fuel pump related, like the wiring to the fuel pump. I just checked that now and everything looks well connected with no loose wires/grounds. Im puzzed on this, when it comes to electrical stuff i get confussed.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

I had this happen only it was on right turns... it ended up being bad gas... It took about 10 fill ups before it all got out of the system :?

It could be something else since your radio goes out too! maybe it could be your battery connections? or a bad ground?

well so far ive cleaned the grounds on my fuel pump, maybe that will do something but i doubt it. It stated to do it shortly after i did my ze swap then i changed my gas tank, it went away for a bit but now its starting again.

Mine was having a similar problem because I forgot to tighten one of the bolts for a ground. Make sure all your grounds in the engine bay are good.

I cleaned one of the grounds on the sending unit and it hasnt done it since so i think that i solved the problem. a little bit of dielect greese goes a long way.

Jeff Gorden says, turning right, what the fu*k? Why  How about battery terminals, those buggers have caused me issues big time. Recheck and redo, follow every lead and clean every ground. Green is not good.
