i think for those who dont want to continue to the boonies, we should go from cochrane to brag creek then down the 762 for some fun curves, not too far out of the way and 15 mins of curvy fun.

I'm down with that. Who's bringing the burgers for your BBQ afterwards? ;)

Yeah I agree. Cochrane is far enough. Rocky Mountain House is a looong a-- drive, especially for just a couple hours. I think we can find some other fun stuff to do afterwards. We'll leave it up in the air and figure it out once we're in Cochrane.

I'll bring the pop and perhaps something else.

I didn't mean to impose or anything, but if the weather is nice, I'd rather spend it outside with some friends rather than at home or whatever.

I think Tracy and I could make it to your place afterwards. I'll be on my own for Mazda in the Mountains but I can grab her afterwards and we can head to your place.

Darcy, not imposing... we have lost od BBQ's that others plan at our house, Jen has, Denise has. it is all good, and that way we dont have to leave early on Jeslyns account.

wyldside wrote:I guess this is on again this year. The date is Aug 23, 2008. Everyone is apparently meeting at COP @ 11:00am then cruising out from there. I guess the stops suggested were Cochrane, Rocky Mountain house, and then back to Calgary. I'll see if I can make it this year. I guess there are a bunch of protege people driving down from Edmonton for this.

the meet is at 11, so there will be time to do the line. we just need to be there a little early 9:45 or so

Ummmm

I don't know what I should bring. I'm better off being told. I am a little worried about side dishes getting too warm in the car and what-not
