still don't know which KL i have
so i bought the engine from a place around my house. I paid 700 for it wwith 35,000 miles. When i brought it home i checked the codes on the block and they where DE codes, but someone said it still could be a ZE, it did not have a cover over the EGR (but did nolt have an EGR either) it has ZE throttle body codes and curved neck. KL01 cams as well. Is there any way that this could still be a ZE? THanks

it may have the ze throttle body but if the block is de then it most likely all is,
and kl01 cams are in the domestic kl's like the mellenia and the de

You could have a Klze. There's 2 versions. Straight neck with ze heads, pistons, cams. And the Curved neck, which varys. It could have the Ze heads, De pistons, cams.
If you can exchange it with whom you bought it from. Ask for the straight neck Klze.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!
