Flyrtle 4.0 Ideas - West Palm Beach, FL

The dates are going to be the weekend of October 3-5th.

With Moroso under construction this year it's very possible it won't be done in time for Flyrtle. With that in mind, I'm looking for some other ideas that could replace the track activity.

My favorite right now would be paintball. There's some very capable paintball facilities around here that could handle a group as large as ours.

The bbq will be on Sunday again this year. Paintball will be Saturday followed by evening/night outings as well. Last year we did a group dinner and movie at Cityplace.

Who's up for paintball? I know a lot of us would jump at the chance to shoot at each other. :merlin:

We usually get 30-40 MX3/Probe/MX6s and another 15-20 cars that show up to hang out at the meet. Mainly from Florida, although we had someone drive in from GA last year. In south florida alone we have 8 boosted KLs so it's quite a sight when everyone gets together.

If enough out of state people show interest I have a hotel contact I can arrange group rates with.

It's about that time again. Flyrtle is back!!! Since Moroso is under construction all year we're swapping out the track meet for other fun activities.

Here's the deal for this year:

Saturday October 4th
We're spending Saturday shooting at each other Paintball style followed by a Poker Tournament and general all around house party complete with Wii at our very inviting house in West Palm Beach.

Sunday October 5th
Flyrtle Car Meet and BBQ at Okeeheelee park. This will mark the 4th year we've been at Okeeheelee. It's proved to be an ideal place with great facilities, capacity and atmosphere.

Hotel Info:
For out of town attendees I've secured a group rate at a hotel very close to Okeeheelee park. We've stayed there at all the past Flyrtles and it's been great.

The rate is $89.95 per night. It's valid until Sept 4th 2008, after that it will go to whatever full price is at that time.

To book a room call the Holiday Inn @ 800-325-8193 and mention Flyrtle to receive the discounted rate. It's valid for October 3rd and October 4th.

Painball Details
Paintball will be $35. That includes all your gear, field rental, air, etc and enough paint to get you through the first couple rounds. After that we can buy more paint as needed.
Paintball will be prepaid as I have to pay for everyhting at once to get the rate. To sign up for paintball PM me or reply to the thread on probetalk.

Boynton Beach, 10 minutes away lol. I'm still rebuilding my MX3 tho, but it should be done by October.
